INCOME GENERATION FOR THE VULNERABLE WOMEN - IRULAR COMMUNITY
we have provided the awareness and made the income generation help to the vulnerable community women in Pungampady Arni taluk. we provided the Revolving fund to them . we hearty thank for the 1% Italy organisation for the great help of them.

About SXEDS
A few good hearten persons gathered frequently and started discussing about the situation of the people and started doing some service to the deserving. In course of time seven like minded people decided to form as a group accordingly, we started functioning having the name "DOWNTRODDEN ECONOMIC AND EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY". Our social service was systematically organized from 1st August 1991 onwards under the able leadership of Rev.Fr.S.S.Muthu who is known for his tiredness work and efficiency. The well wishers and the elders of the area also guided and encouraged the members of the society in all the possible ways to make our work effective and useful to the people particularly to the youth folk. On 26th August 1991, our society was registered as per the Tamil Nadu Government Registration Act-1976. Also we changed our name as ST.XAVIER’S EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT SOCIETY.
